Foreman Raise Calculator

A raise can shrink once you count the calls, paperwork, and early starts that come with the job. Enter your numbers to see the real hourly rate. The defaults are example numbers only, not real pay rates.

Estimate only. The defaults are made-up examples. Use your own offer. This is before taxes, overtime rules, and benefits, so ask HR or your union rep about those.

How the math works

New pay per week = new rate x paid hours, or salary / 52
Hours you really work = paid hours + extra unpaid hours
Real hourly rate = new pay per week / hours you really work
Change = real hourly rate - current rate

The defaults are example numbers, not real pay figures. Pay changes a lot by trade, region, and union. A salary often means no overtime, so count the long weeks too. This does not include taxes, benefits, a truck, or a bonus. Add those yourself before you decide.
