Apprentice Skills Sign-off Sheet
A one-page sheet to track what your apprentice has learned. For each skill, write when you showed it, when they did it with help, and when they did it alone. Then sign it off. Pick electrical, solar install, or write your own list.
How to use: tap any box to type. Your sheet saves in this browser, so you can come back to it. Print it for the gang box, or text the blank list to your crew. Nothing you type leaves your device.
Apprentice Skills Sign-off: Electrical
| Skill | Shown on | Did it with help | Did it alone | Lead sign-off | Remove |
|---|
Sign off only after you've watched the apprentice do it safely, start to finish, more than once. Follow your company's safety rules, the plans, and the maker's instructions. This is a training record, not a license or certification.

How to run sign-offs
- Shown on: the day you showed the skill and talked through the safety steps.
- Did it with help: the day they did it with you right there.
- Did it alone: the day they did it right on their own while you watched.
- Lead sign-off: your initials, once you'd trust them to do it without you.
Go over the sheet once a week, at the same time, for 5 minutes. Pick the next 2 skills together. People learn faster when they know what's next.
The skill lists
These are general starter lists, written to be safety-minded and not tied to one company. Change any line to match your work. They are not code or legal advice.
